You might sample George Herbert--try the Collected Works, or any collection
that includes "The Temple". It would depend on the themes you wish to work
with--"Dialogue" would work well with two readers, for instance. I glanced
at my copy of the Works, but I hesitate to suggest any specific poems
because ot not being sure what you have in mind. A few of them might seem
"gory"--or perhaps extreme--but when read aloud they are remarkably
powerful. ("The Pulley" might serve in a Lenten context, for instance, but
might not fit into your service easily.)
