As I stand aside to let the experts in Ch. Hist. explain, let me just
suggest that you bone up on your history a bit more. Nobody defends Henry
VIII--nor, for that matter, his daughter Mary (who killed some saintly
people herself, trying to undo her father's work). The Church in England
wasn't *created* by Henry; it was separated from the Papacy and didn't
really take shape until Elizabeth I. (Before all you experts condemn me for
over-simplification, I know, I know!) No flames from here--just a long,
drawn-out sigh.
